Sultech’s patented technology unlocks the true power of elemental sulphur by making it available to plants when they need it.

Our patented micronization process converts recovered elemental sulphur from energy processing into ultra-fine particles with dramatically increased surface area. These micronized particles are rapidly oxidized by soil microbes into plant-available sulphate, delivering season-long nutrition without the losses, inefficiencies, or emissions associated with traditional sulphate fertilizers.

The result is a clean, scalable platform that connects energy, agriculture, and soil health, transforming a bulk commodity by-product into a high-performance crop nutrient.

Our Micronization Process

How the
Process Works

Sulphur Sourcing

Sultech begins with elemental sulphur recovered directly from natural gas processing and oil refining operations. This sulphur is clean, consistent, and available at scale.

High-energy micronization

Molten sulphur is injected at high velocity into a controlled water-polymer system. This process fractures the sulphur into ultra-fine particles, typically under 30 microns (or smaller than the width of a human hair!).

Particle stabilization

The micronized particles are immediately stabilized to prevent re-agglomeration. This ensures uniform particle size, consistent dispersion, and predictable field performance.

 Flexible formulation

The resulting micronized sulphur can be maintained as a stable liquid suspension or de-watered into a powder, enabling multiple product formats and application methods.

Rapid soil oxidation

Once applied, the ultra-fine particles dramatically increase surface area available to soil microbes. This accelerates oxidation to sulphates, making sulphur available to crops when they need it — not months or years later.
