Chairman: Jim McIndoe
Jim McIndoe is an oil & gas executive, whose most recent position was President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of NuLoch Resources Inc. NuLoch, a publicly traded company, resulted from Jim’s successful closing of a Plan of Arrangement between Enerplus Resources Fund and TriLoch Resources Inc. NuLoch was sold to Magnum Hunter Resources Corporation of Houston, Texas in 2011.
Jim has held a series of other executive positions during his career, including co-founder, President and Director of TriLoch Resources, Executive Vice-President and Director of PanAtlas Energy Inc., Vice-President of Corporate Development and Land for Summit Resources Ltd., Vice-President and Director of Keystone Resources Ltd.
Jim McIndoe currently also serves as Chairman of the Board of BayLoch Homes Ltd., a private development company involved in residential real estate in the City of Calgary.
President/CEO: Navindra Patel R.E.T., M.I Plant Eng.
Navindra Patel is an engineering executive with nearly 40 years of proven success in managing engineering companies, projects, and services to a range of global industry sectors.
Navindra was educated in England and brings his international experience to Sultech. Prior to co-founding Sultech Global Innovations Corp., he co-founded and held positions of President at Enerpro Engineering and Grey Owl Engineering – both private firms with full time engineers and support staff that delivered on extensive EPCM projects in Western Canada’s oil and gas sector.
Navindra will leverage his extensive engineering and company management expertise at Sultech, where as CEO, he will oversee all company activities and operations including technology development, financing, and market development.
Vice President Operations: Murray MacKinnon, MET
Murray MacKinnon brings his broad experience in project management to the Sultech team. Murray’s prior position was Global Manager of Hydration Systems at ABB where he was responsible for managing and delivering multi-disciplinary oil and gas projects by using project management methodologies and best practices, along with an engineering background. Murray has a proven track record of delivering results in major projects valued in the $10 million range, including turnkey polymer packages for tertiary recovery at EnCana at Pelican Lake, CNRL at South Brintell, Murphy Oil at Seal Lake, Northern Blizzard at Macklin. Murray was also Senior Project Manager for the design and configuration of control systems for CNRL at Kirby North.
Murray plays a critical role at Sultech for design, development and construction of Sultech proprietary sulphur micronization process equipment.
VP Corporate Development & Investor Relations: Conor Wrafter CFA
Conor Wrafter has a proven track record in the evaluation and assessment of domestic and international Corporate Development initiatives and Acquisition & Divestiture opportunities. Prior to joining Sultech, Conor held progressive positions with energy Infrastructure companies Enbridge Inc., TransCanada Corporation and internationally with Trinergy Renewable Asset Management.
Technical Development – Process Design: William Chee (Bill) Kay
William Chee (Bill) Kay is a chemical engineer whose extensive career in research and development encompassed roles at the Sheritt-Gordon Nickel Refinery, CIL Plastics and the prestigious Alberta Research Council (ARC), from whom he retired after 34 years. Along with his colleagues Dr. Edward Bertram and Jim Laidler, Bill invented and patented the sulphur micronization process ,that under license, underpins Sultech’s product development.
Technical Development – Chemical: Jim Laidler
Jim Laidler is a Chemical Technologist, now retired from the Alberta Research Council. At ARC, Jim helped to convert early stage ideas into marketable technology products and services. Jim was a member for the chemical process development team that invented the sulphur micronization process utilized by Sultech.
